What Is Idaho Home Learning Academy (IHLA)?

Idaho Home Learning Academy is a tuition-free public virtual charter school serving Idaho students statewide. Families who enroll do so as public school students, with a certified teacher of record and the testing and accountability requirements that come with public enrollment.

Is Educate Your Way an Approved IHLA Vendor?

IHLA has approved Educate Your Way as a vendor, which means enrolled families will be able to put their supplemental learning funds toward a complete, personalized Pre-K–8 curriculum. Direct ordering is not live yet. We’ll update this page as soon as IHLA families can add Educate Your Way to an order.

How IHLA Supplemental Learning Funds Work

Idaho has moved its virtual school programs to direct orders only . That means families place an order through the school’s platform and the school pays the vendor, rather than paying out of pocket and submitting a receipt for reimbursement afterward. Reimbursements are no longer offered for 2026–27, with a narrow exception for internet service.
